The days are long, but the years are short.

Needless to say, it’s been a while.

I logged in to see when my last post was: October 2015.  Yup, sounds about right.  About then, things got crazy.  By which I mean, shortly after I wrote that post, I got pregnant.  Yay!  (Except for the part I spent most of the next 9 months sick.  Very sick.)

The most exciting part of the time since I posted is that I was blessed with the most beautiful little girl.  I’m hoping to put our story down in words eventually, but I want to be intentional about documenting this stage because, as every parent before me has said, it goes by too fast.

See what I mean? Sitting up and playing like such a big girl, trying to pull herself up whenever she gets the chance.  The days are long, but the years are short.
